Your Sunday Evening Forecast

Hope everyone is having a good Sunday. We will first start tonight with your labor day forecast which for the most part is looking good except for some afternoon showers as gulf moisture is on the rise. Better rain coverage is expected Tuesday as a cold front will begin to move into Texas. Once the cold front passes us cooler temperatures are on the way. The second half of the week temperatures will be below average for September which for some is a good thing. Highs will only be in the lower to middle 80s and nights will be cooler into the lower to middle 60s..

In the tropics, Hurricane Irma is a Category 3 storm as it continues to move westward. We still have plenty of time to watch to see if Irma will affect the United States at all. Irma should stay out of the Gulf which is good news. We are also watching a tropical wave near Africa which has 60% of development in the next five days as it moves west too. marine forecast is looking good low seas and smooth bays. Lastly, the Guadalupe at riverside park is now below flood stage and the Guadalupe at Bloomington continues a very slow fall over the next few days.
