Your Saturday Evening Forecast

Good evening and hope everyone is having a good Saturday. Lets check out some of our Weather Bug sites to see how hot it has been today. You will notice temps have been in the 90s all day with heat index values in the triple digits. Heat index values throughout the Crossroads are in the triple digits area wide. We will continue to see dangerous heat over the next few days as heat index will range between 105-110. The upper high will slowly begin to break down as it shifts southeast but another upper high will form out west and return back into the plains by end of next week. Also you will notice this upper low in the Gulf causing showers and storms near the coast around Houston. That feature may spark some showers tomorrow with the best chance east of Victoria. Tonight lows will fall down into the upper 70s.

Sunday will be the same story with heat and heat with highs in the middle to upper 90s. Maybe 100 degrees towards Gonzales. Heat index values between 105-110. Sunday night lows will fall back into the 70s and Monday temperatures back into the middle to upper 90s. Make sure you are practicing these heat safety as you are out and about the next few days. The marine forecast looks good with winds out of the South 10- 15kts. Bays have a slight chop. The generals game tonight is looking good but hot. Tomorrow highs will range into the upper 90s out west. Across Victoria and to the east middle 90s with 80s along the coastline. And the next seven days shows plenty of heat and not much rain.
