Good afternoon to everyone hope you are staying cool this afternoon as it has been a hot afternoon in the Crossroads. The heat advisories will expire this evening. Temperatures in the crossroads are in the triple digits with 90s along the coastline. Heat index values are in the triple digits all around. Tonight lows will fall back into the upper 70s with clear skies. Sunday we will some isolated showers along a weak cool front otherwise seeing hot conditions with temps near 100 again. Sunday night lows are back in the upper 70s. And the same story for Monday maybe an isolated shower otherwise hot. Here is that cool front that will be making its way into our area tomorrow but i do have good news. On your weather headlines one more day of heat then rain chances will be moving in our direction and also cooler temperatures.
The upper ridge will move allowing for a wet second half of the week with possibly some good rain amounts from Wednesday into next weekend and we may have to bump up rain chances so prepare for wetness next week. The marine forecast looks good maybe a shower chance with smooth bays and 1-2 foot seas. The almanac shows another hot afternoon with temps in the triple digits. Tomorrow west of Victoria you see highs near 100 where it doesn’t rain. Victoria to the east middle to upper 90s with some isolated showers. The next seven days shows heat Sunday-Tuesday but cooler temps next week along with good chances of rain and storms..
