Your Saturday Evening Forecast

Good afternoon hope everyone is having a great Saturday. De Tar Doppler showing scattered storms throughout the area. The storms will be weakening as we lose daytime heating. Just like last night we could see storms lasting past sunset with all of the heat we have today especially out west. Temperatures are warm into the middle to upper 90s with lower 90s out to the east. Tonight we will see lows fall down into the upper 70s with storms weakening. Sunday another hot afternoon with afternoon storms scattered throughout the area. Sunday night lows fall back into the upper 70s.

Monday will be partly cloudy skies with a decent chance of showers and storms. In the tropics we are watching two tropical waves. Invest 99-L has a 50% of development over the next five days as we head towards the Caribbean. Invest 90-L has a 60% of development over the next five days. The models have it moving west towards the Yucatan. We will continue to monitor the tropical wave to see what role it will play in our weather next week. The marine forecast calls for 3-4 foot seas and bays have a slight chop. If you are going to the Generals game tonight it will be hot and maybe a chance of a shower at first pitch. Tomorrow highs will be in the middle 90s with upper 80s along the coastline. Everyone can expect scattered storms. The next seven days decreasing rain chances by midweek. Due to the uncertainties of the tropics, i have kept temperatures down a degree or two and kept rain chances at 30%.
