Your Saturday Evening Forecast

Good evening to everyone it has been another hot afternoon in the Crossroads with temps in the middle 90s and heat index around the triple digits. We have seen showers and storms across our coastal counties move towards the Edna area before weakening. We will see a lesser chance of showers and storms the next few days. Tonight lows will fall into the middle 70s with upper 70s along the coastline with partly cloudy skies. Tomorrow morning temperatures will be in the lower 80s by 10am. Temperatures will rise back into the middle 90s with some isolated showers here or there although small chance.

By nighttime storms will fizzle as we lose daytime heating and Monday will be hot as well with highs into the upper 90s. We may see a stray shower by then. Upper level disturbance will lead to more daytime showers and storms from Tuesday-Friday. In the tropics, the Atlantic is quiet and we have Tropical Storm Eugene in the Pacific could become a hurricane in the next day or so. The marine forecast is looking good with 1-2 ft seas and water temperature of 89 degrees.
