Your Friday Morning Forecast

Good Friday morning! Temperatures this morning are cool into the lower 60s all around warmer towards the coastline. Radar is showing a whole lot of nothing thanks to high pressure across Texas. Today we will see highs in the middle to upper 80s with lots of sun. The football games tonight are looking excellent. Tonight lows will fall back into the lower 60s. Saturday we will see the same story lots of sunshine and lower humidity values. The next seven days shows plenty of sun with a slow warming trend as we go into next week. Moisture will rise slowly as well by next week.

In the tropics, we are still watching Hurricane Irma, Jose, and Katia. Irma is now a strong Category 4 storm. Jose is a Category 3 and Katia is a Category 1 storm moving towards Mexico. Irma will affect Florida late Saturday night into early Sunday morning. Irma, Jose, and Katia will not be affecting Texas at all which is good news. I want to remind everyone that we are near the peak of hurricane season. We need to be continue to be prepared in case something develops and comes towards our area.
