Yorktown boy returns after open heart surgery
A local boy is back home after undergoing a open heart transplant.
Four year old Hunter Jacob of Yorktown was born with a hypo-plastic left heart defect and since his birth has had 3 heart surgeries. Jacob had a successful heart transplant on April 1st at the Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. The Yorktown Fire Department led a parade for Jacob down Main Street in Yorktown to celebrate his homecoming. Jacob’s family, friends and the community welcomed him home with a parade and party. Jacob’s family says Hunter is doing well and is very happy to be home.
