YMCA of the Golden Crescent is going 24/7 for New Year
VICTORIA, Texas — The YMCA of the Golden Crescent has announced they will move to 24 hour access starting January.
The change will apply to both the YMCA in Victoria and the Calhoun county YMCA. 24 hour access will only be available to members over the age of 18 and will only apply to the gym’s wellness center.
The gym will also waive their joining fee for new members for the month of January in preparation for the move to 24 hour access.
“Well, here at the Y, It’s not just about being a club. It’s about family and community.” explained Membership Director Kristie Cohen. “And, now that we’re gonna be able to offer 24 hour accessibility to our adult members, we just know it’s gonna help them have the chance to work out, get those extra steps in, work those Fitbits and be as healthy as they can be. “
While there is no date for when the 24 hour access will begin, YMCA officials hope to begin the new hours by the end of January.
