Woman dies in Victoria home fire
Cause of fatal fire under investigation
VICTORIA, Texas – A woman died in a house fire Thursday night in the 100 block of Windwood Lane in Victoria.
As of midnight, Assistant Fire Chief Shannon Martin of the Victoria Fire Department said the name of the deceased has not been released.
The fire was reported at 9:30 p.m. Thursday, a portion of the roof collapsed, almost an hour before the fire completely extinguished.
The cause of the fire is unknown and an investigation is ongoing.
