Woman arrested and charged with intoxication assault
Four people including three children sent to hospital
VICTORIA, Texas- Monday just after 10 p.m., a Victoria police officer worked a crash involving two vehicles in the 3300 block of N. Ben Jordan St.
Authorities said a 1997 Buick LeSabre was traveling southbound while a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe traveling northbound failed to yield while trying to turn left.
The driver of the Buick, Valerie Garcia, 27, along with her three children ages 5, 7, and 8 were transported by Victoria Fire Department EMS to a local hospital with critical serious bodily injuries.
The driver of the Chevrolet, Jessica Cuellar, 40, was arrested on suspicion of intoxication assault with a vehicle. She was taken to the Victoria County Jail.
