Who forgot to turn on the A/C?

VICTORIA, Texas – The forecast has not gotten any better from yesterday. Today and tonight there are small chances for rain, but nothing substantial. As usual, the Crossroads will get down into the mid 70s this evening.

To start your work week, there’s more rain chances Monday, and we will get into the mid 90s with heat index values around 106° so be sure to drink your water. After that, the atmosphere dries out because of a ridge that takes hold of the area, and there are no more rain chances throughout the week. The bad news with that is temperatures will be on the rise. We’re looking at air temperatures approaching 100 degrees by mid-week, and heat index values well above that during the hottest parts of the day.

Throughout this entire week, it’s important to remember to stay hydrated, check your backseat for children and pets before you lock up, and take frequent breaks in the shade or the A/C.
