What to expect on Community Crossroads

This week on Community Crossroads

VICTORIA, Texas – Here’s a look at what to expect this weekend on Community Crossroads.

We learn about Pack the Bus, a school supply drive initiative by H-E-B and Faith Family Church.

We also hear from Nina DiLeo and Randy Wachtel of Here Be Monsters, a local theatre collaborative, about their upcoming production, “Bubble, Bunny, Minotaur.” A dinner guest takes on bunny sitting duties. A reluctant bride shows her inner fire. Siblings face the loss of a parent. The Minotaur confesses. The show will be at the Victoria Fine Arts Center on August 13 and August 14.

Three boutiques in downtown Yorktown are teaming up for a Back to School supply drive going on through August 11. The Back to School event takes place on August 11 in downtown Yorktown and will feature local vendors and school supplies for Nordheim I.S.D., Yorktown I.S.D., and Runge I.S.D. students. The Back to School Bash will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on August 11. The boutiques include Fräuleins Boutique and Home Decor, Dare to Dream, and Kristin’s Kookie House &  Boutique.
