Wet Weather Pattern to Linger through Next Week; Significant Rainfall Expected
Deep tropical easterly flow is bringing copious amounts of moisture across the Gulf of Mexico and through the Crossroads, igniting scattered showers and thunderstorms that are wringing out decent amounts of rain. This will be a persistent pattern through most all of next week and may become the drought breaker we have needed for some time. More prominent disturbances in the flow pattern will increase rain chances toward the middle to latter portion of next week, and some tropical development is possible. We will keep you informed.
