West Volleyball Head Coach Returns

Warriors Lead District At 10-0

West volleyball’s head coach is back after missing the past four games.
Alysia Hill was out while dealing with a family illness. While she was gone, the Warriors went 4-0, improved to 10-0 in district, all alone in first, and Monday they got ranked 17th in the Texas Girls Coaches Association state 5A poll for the first time this season. Two Warriors told me how happy they are to have their head coach back.

Said right front hitter Madison Samford, “It’s really good to have her back and we all missed her a lot. We’re ready to take this on. “

Said middle blocker Anjelica Joy, “It’s amazing. I missed her so much. It’s so nice to have her back where we can have that consistency. “

West volleyball returns to district action Friday afternoon at 5:00. That’s when the Warriors host Calhoun.
