West Girls Win Big Against Miller

West girls’ basketball is starting to look like a force.

The Warriors kept rolling Tuesday night, dominating Miller start to finish for an 83-14 district win at home. With the victory, West improves to 5-0 in district play and 18-3 overall on the season.

Carrie Barrera-Lacy led all scorers with 24 points for West, while Jozelyn Washington added 16 points and Aaliyah Castillo had 12.

Next up for the West girls will be another district game against Veterans Memorial this coming Friday. Tip-off for the Warriors and Eagles is set for 6:30 pm in Corpus.
