West Football Spring Game

Warriors Hold Out Top Offensive Stars

West football’s spring drills, coming to an end Wednesday night.
I was at Memorial Stadium for the Warriors’ spring game. All-State running back Tyvon Hardrick, sitting out. Starting quarterback Donovan Harris, playing just one half. Brendan Solis throws three touchdown passes in the first half for the white shirts. Great run here by Chris Hernandez of the red shirts, he takes it to the 20. Couple of plays later, 12 yard touchdown by quarterback Tyler Blaschke. the white outscores the red, 23-20. I talked with the Warriors after their spring game.

Said head coach Courtney Boyce, “I thought it was a lot of good competition. I thought they played really fast and it was exciting to see..”

Said Hardrick, “It was great. It shows where we need to improve and what we have going for us. The offense looked good, the quarterbacks looked good, the receivers, everybody.. “
