West Boys Basketball Looks To Big Game Friday

Warriors To Host Veterans Memorial

West boys basketball, ringing in the new year Tuesday night with a heartbreaking loss.
The Warriors lost at Miller on a last second three point shot. Kevin Rankin led West with 28 points, but the loss drops them to 1-3 in district. Our Sean Coffey talked with head coach Pat Erskine about the strengths of the West boys team so far this season.

“I think the biggest strength of the team right now is just working together. I think our kids believe in each other and we believe in them. Right now it’s just take that attitude towards that next game.”

A West hoops district home doubleheader Friday afternoon at 2:15 against Veterans Memorial. The Warrior girls play first followed by the West boys.
