West Boys Basketball Gets A Win Streak Going
Warriors With Three Straight Wins
West boys basketball, picking a pretty good time for a three-game district winning streak.
When the Warriors’ Kevin Rankin hit a three with two seconds left to win at home over Carroll Tuesday night, it put the West boys at 4-3 in district, all by themselves in the fourth and final district playoff spot. Two Warriors told me how good they feel about how they are playing.
Said guard Omar Posada, “I feel pretty good about three wins in a row. But we can get this fourth one. I feel pretty confident about district right now. ”
Said center Andrew Shelton, “We feel pretty good right now. But we’re not comfortable yet. We still need to work on a lot of stuff, like our defense, and we need to go over our offensive plays better. ”
West boys and girls basketball continue district play Friday night in Corpus Christi against King.
