VICTORIA, Texas - Fair skies, light wind and tolerable humidity levels make for a pleasant afternoon over the Crossroads late today. Expect generally clear skies overnight and lots of sun for your Friday, as well. By the weekend, however, an upper level ridge giving us the fair weather will begin to weaken and shift further southwest, allowing a series of upper level disturbances to bring rain chances back to South Texas. Only isolated coastal showers will appear Saturday, but scattered showers and thunderstorms increase over the area Sunday and Monday. Isolated showers return for Tuesday, then the upper level ridge builds back over the area by midweek. Skies will be fair Wednesday and Thursday. Expect highs in the lower to middle 90s, with lows in the upper 70s.
