Weak Front Having Little Impact on Crossroads; More Rain this Weekend?

A weak cold front is generating only isolated showers and thunderstorms from the immediate Victoria area northeastward, with most activity in the Houston-Galveston area. Temperatures remain essentially unperturbed by the weak front, so expected middle 70s tonight and upper 90s again on Wednesday. Our next chance of meaningful precipitation comes this weekend, when a weak tropical wave glides across the region. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be the rule Saturday through Monday, with Sunday the wettest day among the three.
