Warriors win, Titans fall in district finales

East and West boys basketball played their district finales on Tuesday

VICTORIA, Texas — West boys basketball is entering the postseason victorious.

The Warriors defeated King 61-40 at home Tuesday night to finish district with a 10-6 record as they prepare for their first postseason game in three years. The Warriors have the fourth place playoff spot.

Omar Posada and Kevin Rankin paced the Warriors with 17 points each.

Playing on the road, the Titans dropped their season finale against Ray as they fell to 3-13 in district. East lost to the Texans 87-54.

Ed Clay led the Titans with 12 points, while Andrew Alexander added 10.
