Warming temperatures before an end of the week cold front

Drier air in the mid-levels is moving across the area this evening, leading to lower humidity values and more sunshine across the Crossroads. Tonight will dip down into the low 50s with mostly clear skies; perfect weather to give the AC a break this evening. Watch for patchy fog developing into the evening and lingering into tomorrow morning. Some areas could be a bit dense, so take your time and slow down.

Tomorrow is looking to be warmer, and with onshore flow returning, more humid as well. We will get into the upper 70s under mostly sunny to sunny skies. Wednesday is looking much the same, but with more clouds building in ahead of the cold front.

Thursday is when the rain is expected. We will see the beginnings of the moisture associated with the cold front move into the area. Looking at isolated rain chances on Thursday, increasing to scattered and numerous by Friday. Actual frontal passage on Friday looks to be in the afternoon, however, one model is suggesting a Saturday morning passage. We will have to continue to watch and update you with the time we settle on later in the week. Depending on when the cold front moves through, we could see more showers on Saturday than forecasted. After that, your weekend is going to be mild and sunny.
