VPD Investigating An Accidental Shooting

VPD responded to a call of an accidental shooting on the 1400 of East power avenue Sunday afternoon.

Lt. Fetters of VPD says a 16 yr male was sitting in a surban suv with others, when he accidentally shot himself with a gun that was left in the car.

VPD says his injuries are non life-threatening and the juvenile was transported to the hospital.

The shooting is still investigating as VPD tries to confirm that it was accidental.
