Voting information for May 1 City and School Board General Election

Early voting starts April 19, 2021

VICTORIA- Early voting in the May 1 City and School Board General Election starts April 19. If you applied for Annual Application Ballot by Mail, the ballots are in the mail.

The Ballots may be returned by mail now until Election Day or hand delivered only on Election Day, May 1, 2021.

The Elections Office is accepting applications to vote by mail. Qualified voters may submit a written application from now through Tuesday, April 20, 2021 to receive their ballot-by-mail for the May 1, 2021 City/School General Election.

To be eligible to vote by mail you must meet one of the following criteria;

· 65 years of age or older by Election Day;

· have a disability which prevents you from entering a polling location;

· confined in jail but not convicted of a felony offense;

· absent from the county during the early voting period and on Election Day.

Applications are available at the elections office or you may download an application at www.vctxelections.org.

Friday, April 23, 2021 – 8 am-5 pm

Monday, April 26, 2021 – 7 am-7 pm

Tuesday, April 27, 2021 – 7 am-7 pm
