Volunteers are needed for the Keep Victoria Beautiful Adopt-a-Highway cleanup
Residents can play a role in keeping Victoria beautiful by signing up
VICTORIA, Texas – Residents have the opportunity to play a role in keeping Victoria beautiful by volunteering for the City of Victoria/Keep Victoria Beautiful Adopt-a-Highway cleanup on Saturday, April 10 at 7:30 a.m.
Before splitting into groups to clean Loop 463 between highways 77 and 87, volunteers will meet in the Target parking lot, 7608 Zac Lentz Parkway.
Volunteers can sign up or be notified of future cleanups by visiting www.victoriatx.gov/kvb or contact Christy Youker at 361-485-3235 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Minimum required age for volunteers is 11 years old. If registering on behalf of a group, include how many people will attend.
There will be donuts and water available, and the City will provide safety vests and cleaning equipment, such as gloves and trash bags.
Residents are responsible for bringing their own facial coverings and practicing social distancing. Hand sanitizer will be provided.
