Volleyball players raising funds to battle breast cancer
VICTORIA, Texas – The Victoria West High School and Victoria East High School volleyball players invite the public to attend their games this evening.
The volleyball players are raising money to support a community member who is battling cancer.
Free t-shirts are made possible by the Citizens Medical Center.
Attendees can pick on up at the door and wear pink to get a special door prize.
The varsity game is at 5 p.m. and the junior varsity and freshman games are at 6 p.m. at Victoria West High School.
“Debbie” the pink firetruck will make an appearance.
The volleyball teams are continuing this tradition which began in 2017.
In 2020 the team did not hold the fundraising event due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
