Our Sean Coffey talked with two VISD wrestlers about district.

Said West junior Daniel Supak, “That would mean a lot. That’s been my dream this whole year, to go to state. So fingers crossed.”
Said West senior Emma Jones, “It’d be really awesome. I haven’t won district since my freshman year, so to come back and know that I have a good shot at winning is a real confidence booster, and it would make me feel pretty confident going into regionals and state.”

VISD wrestlers compete at the district meet starting Wednesday in Corpus Christi at Ray high school.
