VISD Now Ready To Put Ideas Into Action

Victoria – The results are in, and now its time to help Victoria ISD design its future.

Dr. Quintin Shepard, superintendent of Victoria ISD, spoke at this mornings Victoria Economic Development Partnership meeting, regarding the results of the districts learning tour and the next steps to be taken, which is putting those ideas into a active plan for district improvement. Dr. Shepard says that the district will be putting together three task forces that will take the submitted ideas and decide how these ideas would help benefit the district. Shepard says that they are once again seeking the public’s help in taking steps to improve the district.

“We are asking people to share their genius. So if you have any interest at all in designing the future of the school district, so to to website fill out an application, we are leaving those open till the end of December, those task forces will start in January, we need your genius we need your voice more than ever,” said Shepard.
