VISD and Region III Host Parent Involvement Conference

Bullying, behavior, and success were just a few of the topics covered at the Region Three Parent Involvement Conference.
“Parents have a chance to come and have some education on how to help their kids succeed in school,” Beverly Wyatt says.
But for Tivoli I.S.D. mom Kristin Castro, the topic parental involvement hits close to home.
“It all starts at home,” she says. “It starts with us parents, teachers, and everybody being involved.”
A promising education Castro says every child deserves.
“All the students at school, all deserve a fair chance.” Castro says. “Doesn’t matter who you are, what color you are, or what community you come from. I believe that everybody has an opportunity to go to college and make something of themselves.”
