Vietnam Veterans Memorial replica comes to Cuero

A 250 foot wall is coming to Cuero.

“The Wall That Heals” is a replica wall of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C.
Its a traveling wall made possible by the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund and gives veterans an opportunity to see the memorial in their own hometowns. This is the first time the wall is traveling to Cuero and organizers say they are excited for the public to see it.

“Good way to educate kids on war and whats happen during the years..Their grandfathers may have fought in the Vietnam War, may have been killed while they were there and can go find their name,” Cuero Heritage Museum Curator, Liz Heiser said.

The wall will be at the Cuero Municipal Park starting this Wednesday through Sunday. Its free for the public.
