Victorian Runs First Texas Pro Sports Team Back At Practice
Smith Is COO Of FC Dallas
A Victorian runs the first Texas pro sports team to return to practice during the pandemic.
Jimmy Smith, 1993 graduate of Victoria High, is the COO of FC Dallas in Major League Soccer. FCD players, staff and coaches returned to the team’s facility on a limited basis for training starting Monday.
The club will have two separate sessions for players to take part in individual workouts that are voluntary.
A maximum of four players will be allowed per field.
Only team officials will be allowed on the facilities. Players are not allowed to go into team locker rooms, gyms or training rooms.
