West Warriors and East Titans aren't ble to pull the win

VICTORIA,Texas– The Victoria West Warriors basketball team will now have to work harder these next few games if they want to win the district title. After Tuesday nights intense match-up against the Flour Bluff Hornets, the Warriors would lose 65-60 putting the Hornets in the 1st place. Currently, West is 11-2 in district and 13-4 overall. They will now need to win two out of their remaining three games if they want to hold up the district championship trophy at the end of the season. The Hornets improve to are 20-2 on the year. Both teams’ fans were at the game and showed their support for their team.

Also playing tonight are the Victoria East Titans. The Titans are struggling this year with a record of 5-18 overall and 2-13 in district. Although the Titans will not make the playoffs this year, they are optimistic about the future since they are a young team. Four of their five starters will be back next year and this playing time is valuable for the coming years. East has one more game left against Flour Bluff.
