Victoria unemployment numbers go down

In January the unemployment rate in Victoria was 4.0% which is .4% lower than January 2018.

For individuals unemployed and looking for an opportunity this is the best time to find a job because the unemployment rate it low. Many employers have job openings available in every industry but it’s difficult to fill those roles because there’s not enough qualified individuals.

“There are some challenges with a low unemployment rate its sometimes difficult to find individuals to fill up those openings that those employers currently have,” says Henry Guajardo with Worforce Solutions.

On June 6th at the Victoria Community Center the workforce solutions will have 55 employers looking to hire individuals who are qualified for their positions.
