Victoria Texas Independent Film Festival set for April 4-7

The Victoria Texas Independent Film Festival is gearing up to take over Downtown Victoria from April 4th – April 7th, promising to captivate audiences and guests with a stunning lineup of films.

Featured directors include Fatima Hye, Animalium; Ryan O’Leary, The Last Weekend; Jay Alvarez, Dizzy Pursuit; and Kymberly Harris, Faith.

Newscenter 25 has reached out to some of the directors to get exclusive interviews. Check back on during the festival to meet some of the VTXIFF 2019 directors.

This year’s festival will see over 50 films from across the globe spread out over 4 days and multiple venues. Victorians will have an opportunity to not only treat themselves to cinematic ingenuity but interact with directors and actors from the films in numerous ways.

There will be Q&A sessions after screenings, discussion panels, live music performances, and more.

With half of the films being screened at the festival coming from female directors and filmmakers, the Victoria Texas Independent Film Festival gladly pays homage to the talented women in an often male-dominated industry.

Regular wristbands for the festival are $35 and grant the wearer access to all the film screenings as well as live music performances at Rosebud Records, Grill and Theater throughout the festival.

VIP badges are $150 and grant the ultimate package for our patrons. More than 50 films. No waiting in lines, and first pick of seats.
