Victoria Police searching for a man following hit and run incident

VICTORIA, Texas – Victoria police are searching for a man following a hit and run incident.

Police responded to a call of a car crash at 5:31 p.m. on the intersection of Sam Houston and Mockingbird.

Police say the driver of a Chevy Impala was traveling southbound when it ran a red light and hit a truck.

After the crash, the driver of the Impala jumped out of the car window and ran off.

The people in the truck went to a local hospital to be checked out and are expected to be okay.

Police are still searching for the man who ran from the scene.
