VICTORIA, Texas- When city manager Jesús Garza learned some residents at an apartment complex might all be struggling with limited water he and other city workers including the Victoria Police Department and the Victoria Fire Department stepped in to help.
Sunday afternoon they delivered bottled water to the Victoria Station Apartments and to the Victoria Housing Authority.
A truckload of water arrived Sunday morning from the state and FEMA. Over the last week the city has distributed water to at least 13 agencies who regularly help people and other non-profits in Victoria.
