Victoria pole vaulter qualifies for Junior Olympics

Earlier this year, track-star Ryleigh Redding became the first girl in Victoria West history to medal at state, but she isn’t slowing down just because it’s summer. Redding has continued adding to her success, tying for third at the USA Track and Field regional meet in pole vault, clearing 12 feet, 1.5 inches. That qualified her for the USATF Junior Olympics at the end of July in Lawrence, Kansas.

She also placed second last week at the AAU regional meet in San Antonio with a jump of 12-feet.
