Meeting Victoria Royalty
VICTORIA, Texas– Tiaras, curls and beautiful costumes brings out the smiles of these young girls, and the little cowboys, along with their parents. The winners of last years Victoria Pageant gathered to give us insight of how it feels to be part of this organization.
“It’s been the best experience I’ve had in my life had hands down. I got to serve my community through many hours of community service and I got to go around and meet so many people that I never would have got the opportunity to meet without this title,” said Queen Victoria, Kaylee Henson.
For many young girls it gives them confidence and helps them learn the value of their community.
“It’s an honor to be Junior Queen Victoria and just helping people out and being able to be a part of an amazing organization is really amazing,” said Junior Queen of Victoria, Lila Perry.
Queen Victoria wants all girls to remember that everyone is beautiful and special in their own way and it is important to always be yourself.
“You don’t have to be the glitzy glamour queen like anything that you do that stands out makes you unique is so good you don’t have to be Queen Victoria you could be anything to be special,” said Henson.
The 2019 winner for the title Mr. Cowboy told us what he wants to be when he grows up.
“I want to be a cowboy worker and workout, said Parker Thomas
The Victoria Pageant returns next month and will take place at the Victoria Community Center on February 22nd.
