Victoria ISD looking for feedback with ‘Thought Exchange’

Victoria ISD is asking for the community’s opinion on the school district’s future through a Thought Exchange program.

The Listening and Learning Tour is a thought exchange where parents, students, staff and community members can share their ideas for improvement on VISD and its schools. To date, over five hundred people have participated, with over six hundred thousand ideas shared. Communications Director Shawna Currie hopes the program will lead to valuable feedback for the district.

“We really encourage anyone within the Victoria community,” Explained Currie. “Whether they have children in the school system or not, it’s still… they’re still a part of our community and they still feel the effects of the students who are coming out of our school district. So, we want everyone to have a voice”

The Thought Exchange is available in English and Spanish and ends on Sunday, September 16th.
