Victoria Hurricanes Off To 2-0 Start

Hurricanes' First Home Game Comes Saturday

Are you ready for some Victoria Hurricanes football?
The Hurricanes, three-time champions of the Crossroads Amateur Football lLague, off to another fast start this season. After winning the South division last year with a 13-1 record, the Hurricanes are 2-0 this season after winning last Saturday night in Laredo. They are ranked number five in the Southeast Amateur Football rankings. I asked Hurricanes owner Rudy Guzman how similar this year’s team is to last year’s Hurricanes.

“It’s a mixture of veterans and new guys. The veterans know how to get it done. The new guys are hungry for that ring that they see the veterans you know have.”

The Victoria Hurricanes’ first home game of the season, Saturday night at 7:00 at Patti Welder Stadium. The Hurricanes take on the Brazos Valley Cobras.
