The Generals took on the Brazos Valley Bombers in the start of a three game series

VICTORIA, Texas – Friday evening, the Victoria Generals had their home opener of the 2020 season at Riverside Stadium. The Generals were coming off a series win on the road against the Acadiana Cane Cutters in a three game series in Lafayette, Louisiana.

They began their three game series against rival team, the Brazos Valley Bombers on Friday and will continue through the July 4 weekend.  The starting pitcher for the Generals was RHP Isaac Ponce, who allowed two runs in the first inning, but the Generals were able to answer back right away with a run in the bottom half.

The Generals fell to the Bombers in the first game, 3-7. They will play again tomorrow at 7 p.m at Riverside Stadium.
