Victoria East, West and Career Technology Institute students have option to return to campus January 19

VICTORIA, Texas- Face-to-face instruction for students at Victoria East and Victoria West high schools, as well at the Career and Technology Institute (CTI) is anticipated to resume on Tuesday, January 19th. The Victoria Independent School District announced this Monday in a statement sent to Crossroads Today.

This option to return to in-person classes is available for those who wish to return to on-campus learning. The district said that Fridays will continue to be a compressed half-day schedule.

However, this will be dependent on adequate staffing at all grade levels VISD explained. Victoria ISD is monitoring the number of COVID-19 cases among staff and within the community.

A final decision regarding high school students returning to campus will be made no later than the end of the day on Wednesday, January 13.
