Victoria CrimeStoppers To Host Community Awareness Event
Victoria crime stoppers will be hosting a community awareness event and luncheon in September, to honor our first responders and to raise money for our local crime stoppers chapter her in Victoria. Featured speaker at this event will be investigator Moore with the Wilson County sheriffs’ office. Moore was a lead investigator in the Sutherland Springs mass shooting in 2017. Charles Kulow, with Victoria crime stoppers, says that this event brings both citizens and first responders together in a very special way.
“This allows the first responders to be in a non-disaster or life threatening event, in that they can actually network with other first responders, and get to meet some other people they deal with on a day to day basis, in a non-emergency situation.>,” said Kulow.
The Victoria crime stoppers community awareness event takes place on September 27th, inside the Victoria Country Club. Space is limited and they are going fast. To make a reservation or to sponsor a first responder at the event, please call (361)574-1259 or Larry Clark board president at (361) 649-8936.
