VICTORIA, Texas- The Victoria crime Stoppers announced that the man who attempted to register the stolen vehicle was identified in a tip to Victoria Crime Stoppers. The investigation into the burglary is continuing.

VICTORIA, Texas- Victoria Crime Stoppers is requesting information regarding a Burglary of a Habitation.
In a statement, the Victoria Crime Stoppers explains that on November 13, 2020, a man attempted to register a black 2014 Chevrolet Impala at the Victoria County Tax Office.
Authorities say he was not allowed to and it was later discovered the vehicle he attempted to register had been stolen from a residence on the 500 block of Rattan Drive. Police later recovered the vehicle after it was abandoned in a parking lot.
