Victoria County Sheriff’s Office makes arrest
K-9 Bane sniffed out the drugs in the vehicle
VICTORIA, Texas—Thursday, two Victoria County Sheriff’s deputies made a traffic stop on Highway 59 South near Coleto Creek.
During the stop, Deputy Hengsts asked to search the vehicle for narcotics. The driver denied the request.
K-9 Bane was deployed, and the K-9 smelled a narcotic odor. A search of the vehicle found 6.9 grams of methamphetamine and 53 grams of black tar heroin.
The VCSO Special Crimes Unit will continue the investigation.
