Victoria County reports 76 new COVID-19 cases, 87 recoveries
County currently reporting 701 active cases
VICTORIA, Texas — The Victoria County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) reported 76 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, and 87 new recoveries.
Wednesday’s updated case totals bring the county total to 1,465 since the beginning of the pandemic, with 701 of those considered active. The county has reported 9 total deaths.
With the latest figures, there are now currently 932 active cases of the novel coronavirus in the Golden Crescent. Dewitt County is reporting 48 active cases, Goliad County 7, Calhoun County 50, Jackson County 28, and Lavaca County 98.
