Victoria County receive Grade B for ozone pollution

Eight other Texas counties received a Grade A

VICTORIA, Texas – Victoria County receives a Grade B for ozone pollution.

According to a new report by the American Lung Association, seven of Texas’ 10 largest counties have a failing grade when it comes to ozone pollution levels. Victoria County was the only county in the Crossroads to receive a grade in this report.

Meanwhile, eight counties received a Grade A, including:

  • Cameron County,
  • Hidalgo County,
  • McLennan County and
  • Nueces County

In this report, five Texas cities had zero high ozone days.
