Victoria County one-month COVID-19 new case record set
Tops previous record set in July 2020
VICTORIA, Texas—A record for most COVID-19 daily new cases in one month was set in January in Victoria County.
This information from Victoria County Public Health Department director David Gonzales. In January, there were 2,518 new COVID-19 cases in Victoria County, a rise of 2,140 cases in just one month. The previous record, 2,446 new cases, was set in July of 2020. In January, Victoria County averaged 71.9 new COVID-19 cases per day.
