Victoria County getting 2,000 more COVID-19 vaccine doses

State also sending doses to Port Lavaca, Goliad

VICTORIA, Texas–Victoria County will be getting more COVID-19 vaccines next week.

The Texas Department Of State Health Services announced Friday that 2,000 more Moderna COVID-19 vaccines will go to Victoria County for another mega-vaccine hub next week. Victoria County has administered 2,000 doses in each of the past two weeks, and 6500 doses overall in its four mega-hub events. The state also announced that it will be sending 100 Moderna doses apiece to two places in Port Lavaca: the Memorial Medical Center, and the Port Lavaca Clinic Associates. The DSHS office in Goliad will be receiving 200 Moderna vaccines next week.
