Victoria County COVID-19 vaccine second dose mega-hub
2,600 Moderna second doses were scheduled to be administered
VICTORIA, Texas—Victoria County hosted its eighth COVID-19 vaccine second dose mega-hub Tuesday.
Health department director David Gonzales told me they planned to administer about 2600 doses, and they had about 1,250 people get second doses by lunch time today. Gonzales said the county will host three more second dose clinics through May 18. Gonzales told me since the final first dose mega-hub, only a couple of hundred have signed up on the county’s wait list. He added that the county is now transferring COVID-19 vaccines that were meant to be first doses into second doses.
